I just happen to be strolling through Youtube, and seen the big homie Snoop Dog on the Prices Right. Snoop Dog seems to be a very smart guy, because he knows the importance of marketing himself in different niches. The Prices Right is not a place you would normally see rap artist. Snoop fit into the show just like a hand in a glove. His crazy marketing idea just help him sell a few more records, and  cross over into a crowd who may not have even been a fan of his music.

American Idol. The question I have is why do people fall for the same old stuff over and over again ?

Well folks, that’s what good marketing will do for you in most cases, it will have you buying the same thing twice. Let’s take a deeper look at how the show American Idol was created. The Show was nothing more than a high glorified talent show case that was broadcasted to the world. Once ratings begin to fall Simon decides he was going to create something new and leave the show. Well, he creates the X-factor and both shows ratings seem to be going through the roof.

Good marketing will bring you closer to a product or project all over again. Simon has managed to make you fall in love wit American Idol and the X-factor all over again. I often wonder how we fell for the American Idol being a recycled American Idol !

I know you have seen the commercials and the ads running about the Kindle and Nook.  Amazon is already the leader in books and merchandise sales online. Barnes and Nobles only has one product that they are selling which is books. Who has the better market share is it Kindle or Nook. In my opinion, Kindle seems to provide a better experience for the user and seems to have a bigger marketing campaign going to get the kindle  and kindle firer into the hands of the e-reader population.

The marketing is the driving force that makes house hold names house hold. When you see the ads the commercials, the stars drinking, and the radio pushing it you are becoming part of the brand to make that bottle of liquor as sexy as you wanna be.

Micheal Vick has had a hell of a season sense he started playing quarter back for the Philadelphia Eagles. Vick has shown that he is still the industry standard when it comes to quarter backing for a team. Micheal as you know went to prison for dog fighting. It looked as if Micheal Vick’s career would be over before it had gotten started. Sponsorship contracts and corporation pulled away from Vick’s  which left him millions of dollars in debt. Vick has bounced back sense then, and began his starting quarter back position with the eagles.

Many people counted Mike out. He has proven that if you stay focused, and work hard you can overcome any obstacle put in front of you. Michael has a promising career in front of him, and the NFL has not seen the best days of Vick yet. I think Mike has found his home in Philly and he will truly be Americas greatest NFL quarterback.
